In the summer of 2014 I decided I wanted to create an object that is useful and machinable out of a single piece of metal. It was a challenge I posed to myself because I wanted to see if I could come up with a product, manufacture it, and market it entirely on my own. I came up with my key clip. The final design is unobtrusive, but functional. Within the design there are three tools. It holds my keys on my belt loop, it has a bottle opener, and the divisions between the walls function as wrenches. After eleven iterations I’m finally happy with it.
