Tardisk was a project I joined at the beginning of January in 2015. They needed someone to help design an aluminum body for an SD card. The body had to fit perfectly into a macbook. This was the first time I had to design something with such tight tolerances. After the design was complete I needed to talk to some local machinists and find out if they could actually produce the part. About a month later we launched the kickstarter. It ended up being an enormous success. Our goal was $32,000 and we ended up breaking $125,000. Taking a part all the way from concept to production to market was a unique and exciting experience.
